Our client is well known brand, based in The Senior Business Analyst will perform economic research work and prepare analyses of subjects to include rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investment and financial and expense performance comparisons. Additionally, the Analyst will prepare reports, graphs and charts, prepare forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance and general business conditions and other areas. Additional duties include: § Assist in the development of organization finance policies, conduct special economic studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies. § Adapt new developments in the field of financial planning and control. § Prepare special cost and operational reports, coordinate and prepare annual operating and capital budgets, business plan, and related cost and financial projections. § Perform monthly variance and outlook analyses, report, resolve, and reconcile discrepancies as well as construct P/L for diverse verticals. § Track, report, and analyze financial and operational performance measurement indicators building complex financial models, drafting comprehensive budgets, and assisting in deal analysis and negotiations. § Actively lead corporate, subsidiary, or business unit projects and/or initiatives as assigned. § Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, research, analyze and summarize financial data. The successful candidate for this position is energetic and motivated, and possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills in a retail environment. He or she will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or the equivalent and between five to eight years of experience working in an analytical capacity. Expertise in Excel and other Office tools is required as is the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Additional requirements include: § Proven leadership experience. § Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. § Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Preferred skills include: §MBA or Master's degree §Sales analysis experience (especially in a retail environment) and §SAP R/3, BW, Hyperion experience. |
